About Miss Ziebart
I grew up in the small town of Leonardville, Kansas. In 2008 I graduated from Riley County High School where I participated in many school clubs, activities, and sports. After high school I attended Bethany College on a basketball scholarship and majored in Health & Physical Education. My sophomore year I transferred to Tabor College where I continued to play basketball and work towards my degree. I completed my student teaching experience in Clay Center, KS where I coached middle school volleyball as well as high school basketball. In December 2011 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Health & Physical Education.
After graduation I spent time substitute teaching in small towns near Leonardville before accepting a position at Liberal High School. From Fall 2012 to Spring 2014 I taught freshman health and lifetime sports. I then decided to make the move into the classroom and will be teaching business. Along with teaching I am also the Student Council Sponsor, LNEA High School Representative, and Wellness Council Representative.
I plan to continue my education through FHSU where I am currently taking courses to become ESOL Certified and earn a Masters Degree in ESOL. Once that is completed I intend to earn my 2nd masters degree in the area of either Administration or Sports Administration.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband Chad, daughter Taylor, and dog Jazzy. We enjoy hunting, camping, grilling out with family and friends, as well as target and trap shooting.
