Current Position:

I am in my second year of teaching at LHS and am currently teaching Drama and Intensive Reading/Applied English.

Previous Position:

I have worked in the past as a Theatre Instructor for Cochise Community College in Sierra Vista, AZ., a paraeducator for Manhattan High School, Manhattan, Ks., and as a substitute teacher for all grade levels in three different districts. All of my past teaching experiences are what inspired me to become a fully licensed teacher for the Secondary level! I am really excited to teach Theatre and share my life long passion with students.

Family Information:

I have been married since 1999 to my wonderful husband, Royce Kitts, who is happy to be the Liberal Memorial Library Director.  We have one son, Harrison, who is currently 12 years old. We have one sweet dog, Gus and two cats named Berlioz and Toulouse.

Personal Information:

In my spare time I like to paint and draw, and create art. You can sometimes see some of my paintings hanging in my room at school!
