Born in San Angelo, Texas, September 18, 1957. Family moved to Fort Worth until we built our own house on a farm outside Hillsboro, Texas. Hillsboro High School Salutatorian in 1976. Graduated Summa cum Laude from Southern Nazarene University (OKC) in 1980 with Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree in 1982, then Magna cum Laude at Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1985 in Kansas City.
I pastored four churches in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado. I taught at Nazarene Indian Bible College in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for seven years while also serving as Dean of Student Life then taught at Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for three years while also serving as division chair and internship director.
I have taught Geometry at Liberal High School for seven full years and am in my eighth year. I have also taught College Algebra and KMA. This year I will be teaching Algebra III and Geometry. I also served as a substitute teacher for six years in Hooker, OK and Liberal prior to being employed full-time in 2008. In addition, I teach at Seward County Community College as an adjunct instructor in both Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra. I enjoy making a difference in students' lives as I mentor them with math skills and real world skills.
